Heavy metalwork is a civil engineering and industrial sector involving the design, construction, and installation of large scale, high strength metal structures, like bridges, cranes, towers, pylons, and frameworks for industrial plants.
This work requires advanced skills in metalworking, the ability to read and interpret technical drawings, and the use of specialized machines and equipment.
Operators must be capable of working with precision and safety to ensure the stability and robustness of the structures built.
Our heavy metalwork is intended mainly for industrial applications and large companies.
Surface treatments
For surface treatments Carpenteria Grillanda S.r.l. draw on a vast network of collaborators who supply both galvanization (hot and electrolytic) and surface coatings (powder and liquid).
Our suppliers are all qualified and issue legally required declarations of conformity for the processes carried out.
Assembly
It is during the installation stage that our customers’ ideas start to take shape! In close coordination with the Director of Works and in collaboration with building companies, Carpenteria Grillanda S.r.l. and their installation team rapidly assemble their structures at the worksite, to state of art standards and under the constant guidance and control of our qualified technicians.
The worksite personnel are well trained and hold all the legally required certifications and qualifications for the use of platforms and lifting equipment.
