Carpenteria Grillanda: a heritage of innovation and quality

Foundation and development

The story of Carpenteria Grillanda dates back to 1966, when Ottavio Grillanda transformed his blacksmith and wheelwright activity into a workshop specialized in metal processing. This change marked the beginning of a new era, with the abandonment of wood in favour of metal, a material that offered greater strength and versatility.

Diversification and specialization

Under the guidance of Ottavio’s son, Giancarlo, the company began diversifying its production. In response to the demands of an evolving market, Carpenteria Grillanda expanded into production of aluminium and metal window and door frames, sheet metal processing, and other metal structures.

During this time Giancarlo also started designing and building specialized machines, including two machines for harvesting strawberry plants, both approved for road transit.

Generational turnover and industrial orientation (2001 – 2015)

The baton passed in turn to Giancarlo’s son, Marco, who shifted the company towards new industrial horizons. Their effort was concentrated on processing out-contracted goods with improvements in automatic sheet metal cutting, welding, and mechanical processing. This period saw significant technological advances and refinements in the specialized services they provided.

Consolidation and expansion (2016 – today)

With the arrival of the new millennium, Carpenteria Grillanda Srl not only consolidated their position as leaders in the sector but also continued expanding. Acquisition of high quality certifications further raised the company profile, enabling collaboration with large industrial groups.

The company is currently in a process of continuous growth, with the purchase of new land in Tresignana for the development of a unique industrial district dedicated to metalwork.

Today Carpenteria Grillanda Srl is a yardstick company in the metalwork sector, with a constant commitment to innovation and quality. While the company looks towards the future, we remain faithful to the principles of excellence and precision that have guided our development right from the start.
